Heres my first bit of exposed photo paper on my course!
These are called photograms, made by exposing a piece of light sensitive paper to light under the Enlarger. This one was exposed for 9 seconds on a mid range aperture and the face’s main part was an old crystal fruit bowl and the mouth were some small keys the eyes were shells and the hair was peacock feathers (amongst other things).
After exposing the paper to white light for 9 seconds your then left in the dark glow of the red darkroom light and then you put it in the developer chemical for a minute, stop bath chemical for a minute and then the fixer chemical for 5 minutes to then wash under running water for 10 minutes. Then you dry the image in between the rollers, job done!
